Ülemiste City aims to be a carbon-neutral, sustainable campus, using 100% green electricity in offices since 2020 and targeting full carbon neutrality by 2030. It promotes eco-friendly commuting, with three times more cyclists than Tallinn’s average. Its Green City platform gives tenants real-time data on electricity, water, and waste, helping track and improve environmental performance.
Smart City
Ülemiste City functions as a “live lab” where new technologies are tested in real-life settings. It has piloted self-driving shuttles, smart parking, and AI-based energy systems. Through its Test City program, innovation is focused on improving daily life. In partnership with universities and tech firms, including TalTech, it conducts research on mobility, urban design, and city economics using data-driven methods.

It offers education through schools and universities, and has the largest privately funded health campus in the Baltics.
