RED SEA COAST

Saudi Arabia

Proposed Participant

Developed by Red Sea Global (RSG), The Red Sea and AMAALA are two cornerstone giga-projects of Saudi Vision 2030, focused on establishing the Kingdom as a global regenerative tourism leader. AMAALA secured a recent SAR 6.5 billion (USD $1.73 billion) green financing package to support development. Both destinations prioritize ultra-luxury hospitality and aim to deliver conservation benefit to local ecosystems.

Located along a 28,000 km² area of pristine coastline between the cities of Umluj and Al Wajh, The Red Sea Project and AMAALA are being developed to redefine luxury tourism. The Red Sea Project focuses on an archipelago of over 90 untouched islands, featuring luxury resorts, residential properties, and leisure facilities. AMAALA, further north, is conceived as an ultra-luxury wellness and arts destination. Together, they represent a comprehensive vision for a new tourism economy powered 100% by renewable energy.
