New Alamein City is a vast, fourth-generation urban development located on Egypt’s northwest Mediterranean coast, designed to integrate tourism, residential living, cultural, commercial, and research facilities. Spanning over 48,000 acres with the capacity for more than 3 million people, the city aims to transform the historic El Alamein area into a modern, year-round smart metropolis. The city is located on Egypt’s North Coast, within the administrative borders of the Marsa Matrouh Governorate. It stretches approximately 48 km along the Alexandria–Marsa Matrouh Coastal Road. The city is a multi-phase development featuring distinct zones: a touristic area with luxury resorts and hotels, a central administrative and business district. It is designed to create a new economic corridor, serving as a model for Egypt’s future urban expansion.
