The city has a significant local and national impact through its blend of urban, economic, and social ambitions.

The Green City is designed with bioclimatic architecture, polycentric green belts, and adapted urban grids that maximise natural light and wind circulation. It features highly efficient infrastructure such as photovoltaic panels, wastewater treatment plants, and water recycling systems for irrigation. This development spans 1100 hectares and incorporates green building practices that minimise environmental footprint while fostering a vibrant academic and residential community around the UM6P campus.
