Magok District is a large-scale urban redevelopment project located in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the last major development areas in Seoul, envisioned as a knowledge industry green city and innovation hub for Northeast Asia. The project aims to transform Magok into a future-oriented urban space balancing advanced technology, environmental sustainability, and quality of life.

The Magok district in Seoul has a total area of approximately 3,365,000. The Seoul Metropolitan Government emphasizes that Magok, with its optimal location for leading R&D companies, is being developed as a self-sufficient complex, complete with residential areas as well as industrial and recreational parks. The development integrates residential, commercial, and industrial zones alongside green spaces, promoting a balanced mixed-use urban environment conducive to both economic growth and liveability.

As a “future green city,” Magok emphasizes ecological preservation and sustainable urban living.
