Since 2018, Las Condes has pursued a smart city agenda with projects like replacing over 42,000 streetlights with connected LED lamps integrated into a single IoT network.
This network covers parking, traffic, and environmental sensors collecting real-time data to optimise energy use, traffic flow, and public services through a centralised Smart CMS platform. The city incorporates smart irrigation and water leak detection to address environmental challenges.
