This innovation-driven ecosystem retains and repurposes iconic structures into a mixed-use community for businesses, educational institutions, and residents, dedicated to accelerating solutions for global challenges.

Expo City Dubai is strategically located in Dubai South, near major highways such as Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) and Expo Road (E77), offering excellent connectivity to Dubai’s key areas, including Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum International Airport. The city spans 3.5 square km and is designed as a sustainable and vibrant urban hub, integrating residential, commercial, and cultural spaces. It supports over 35,000 residents and 40,000 professionals, shaping the next chapter of Dubai’s growth aligned with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and Economic Agenda (D33).

Sustainability is fundamental, with a commitment to net zero carbon emissions by 2050, integrating 45,000 sqm of parks and gardens, water recycling, passive design strategies, and a high number of platinum and gold LEED-certified buildings that reduce energy use by 33% compared to international standards.

Smart City

Expo City Dubai leverages advanced technology to create a smart, sustainable urban environment with LEED-certified buildings, solar photovoltaics generating 5.5 megawatts, and Siemens’ Mind Sphere platform for smart energy management, alongside pedestrianized zones and extensive micro-mobility options.

Human-Centric

Human-centric features include the Middle East’s first WELL Community Standard pre-certification emphasizing health, wellbeing, and inclusivity, with accessible design elements like Quiet Rooms and braille signage, vibrant public spaces such as Al Wasl Plaza, and cultural attractions fostering a cohesive, family-friendly community atmosphere.
