Proposed Participant

Dukuh Atas is Jakarta’s pioneering Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) area, designed to integrate multiple modes of public transportation in a single accessible and sustainable urban environment. It represents Indonesia’s first major TOD project aimed at promoting efficient, multi-modal mobility and enhancing urban liveability through seamless transport connectivity.

The Dukuh Atas TOD connects five major transportation modes: MRT Jakarta, TransJakarta BRT, Airport Rail Link, Commuterline, and LRT Jabodebek, all within a 5-minute walk radius. The core infrastructure includes the JPM (Jembatan Penyeberangan Multiguna) pedestrian bridge spanning 260 meters, equipped with elevators, escalators, bike lanes, and guiding blocks for accessibility. The TOD area features a modern transport hub, mixed-use buildings including retail, office space, and public amenities. Green spaces, pedestrian pathways, and bike-sharing stations promote sustainable mobility and improve the urban experience

The TOD development reduces dependence on private vehicles by emphasizing public transit and non-motorized mobility. It incorporates green spaces and environmentally conscious urban design to reduce heat island effects and pollution. Sustainable transport choices and pedestrian-centered urban planning contribute to Jakarta’s broader sustainability goals.

Smart City

Dukuh Atas uses smart infrastructure such as digital information systems to manage transit operations and passenger flow. The transport hub incorporates smart building concepts to optimize energy and operational efficiency. Facilities promote non-motorized transport with dedicated bike lanes and pedestrian-friendly access connected through integrated digital platforms.

Human-Centric

Focused on pedestrian comfort and safety, Dukuh Atas includes wide sidewalks, accessible pedestrian bridges, and barrier-free access. The area offers public spaces for social interaction, rest, and recreation.
