Future Cities criteria compliance

Environmental & Nature

City integrates reliable water, wastewater, and stormwater systems to manage its coastal setting. It promotes renewable energy adoption, energy-efficient utilities, and solar integration for a low-carbon future. Town-planning schemes also dedicate green belts and open spaces to enhance resilience and reduce heat-island effects.

Smart City

Dholera’s operation is managed by a centralized Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) located in the ABCD Building. This brain utilizes IoT sensors, SCADA systems, and Smart Grids for real-time monitoring and automated control of all utilities. The city is engineered with world-class, underground utility tunnels and universal Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) connectivity, ensuring a robust, digital-first, “plug-and-play” environment.

Human-Centric

Its plan envisions mixed-use neighbourhoods with housing, healthcare, education, and civic amenities to ensure liveability. Designed for multimodal mobility, the city includes arterial highways, transit corridors, and walkable streets. Through its industrial and service clusters, Dholera aims to create jobs, promote skills development, and link economic growth with community welfare.
