DESTINY
CARIBBEAN
Saint Kitts and Nevis
Destiny represents a proposed Special Sustainability Zone (SSZ) on the southern coast of Nevis in St Kitts and Nevis, spearheaded by bitcoin investor Olivier Janssens through South Nevis Ltd, with a committed $50 million investment over five years in infrastructure. Enabled by the 2025 Special Sustainability Zones Authorisation Act, this luxury community targets global entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals, promising local jobs, scholarships, profit-sharing, and significant GDP contributions while navigating debates on governance, arbitration rights, and community impacts.
The project spans Nevis’s southern coast with residential real estate, world-class hotels, medical facilities, and infrastructure upgrades like the Alexandra area, targeting high-net-worth investors via St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment ties. It includes profit-sharing, local job creation, and tourism expansion under national laws.

Environmental & Nature
Promoters like Dr. Deborah Brosnan highlight environmental restoration, sustainable building practices, and ecosystem recovery initiatives, meeting SSZ criteria for large-scale green developments with low-impact designs and renewable integrations. The project pledges to balance luxury growth with preservation of Nevis’ natural beauty, including habitat protection and resource-efficient infrastructure to ensure long-term ecological health.
Smart City
Destiny positions itself as a tech-forward enclave with robust digital infrastructure tailored for blockchain enthusiasts and entrepreneurs, facilitating efficient commercial operations and innovative dispute resolution through specialized arbitration mechanisms. This setup supports high-speed connectivity and tech ecosystems aligned with modern digital economies, drawing on Janssens’ bitcoin background to foster cutting-edge applications in finance and beyond.
Human-Centric
The vision prioritises attracting global talent through luxury amenities, family-friendly scholarships, and community upliftment for Nevisians, creating vibrant spaces that blend high-end living with local benefits like education and employment. However, it faces scrutiny over potential elite exclusivity and diminished local control, aiming nonetheless to enhance quality of life via inclusive economic opportunities and cultural integration.
